Super Simple Chocolate Tartlets

This is enough to make 4x chocolate tartlets

200g plain chocolate, melted
50g plain flour
500g shortcrust pastry
4 eggs
75g butter, melted
100g golden caster sugar
Cocoa powder & roasted hazelnuts to decorate

Heat the oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4
Line tartlet cases with the pastry, cutting off the excess.
Bake blind for 12 minutes
Mix all of the other ingredients together
Pour into the pastry cases
Bake for 6-8 minutes
Dust with cocoa and roasted hazelnuts
Allow to cool and the serve with fresh cream!

**tip**
When you’re baking with the chocolate in the case, don’t over cook – go for closer to 6 then 8 – as I overcooked mine slightly.

This recipe is so deliciously simple, and produces great results anyway.  Very rich tarts! :o)
